Decent place for a 3-night stay. We had a king room with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safe and a writing desk.

Low-budget hotel, we appreciated it.
Bed was good and the breakfast was complimentary. Hotel is conveniently located 4-6 minutes walking distance from the city center. Moreover, there was a free Wi-Fi...

I really enjoyed my stay there. If you want to explore nyc, you won´t probably find better place to stay. Extremly good price, clean and very easy to get to Manhattan. Just take 129 or 190 bus. Stops are within 3 minutes!!!

It is great hotel for those, who look for a cheep price. Rooms are really clean, shower is working, TV also.
Even though is far away from New York, but it's easy to access with a bus and it's only 5 min walk from there.

The room was big
The hotel was very untidy, dirty and large stains on the carpet, broken cupboards. It is not well maintained at all.Spent several hours trying to locate the hotel, called reception but they were not very helpful.

Great location - for the little price you can get to Manhattan in 20 min and the bus stop is just around the corner.. The hotel is filthy outside the rooms but the rooms themselves are spacious and very clean.. I`d definitely stay there again (but make sure where you need to get off the bus when going there for the first time - we had to take a taxi from the bus stop as the bus driver misled us)
The staff working there speaks poor English which was a bit annoying but they are quite helpful

I was attending a seminar and it was very close to where it was being held.
Hotel was extremely noisy at night due to being right on Rt. 3. Picture on website looked much nicer. Room was dated.

A great motel! The location is pretty nice (small cosy town Secaucus). Just take #190 NJTransit from port authority and it will take you to Secaucus in 15 mins. The rooms are very clean. We stayed twice and were very glad with amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wish all the cheap hotels would be like this.

The staff was extremely nice and very friendly. It was also very clean. It was a great alternate of staying outside NYC to keep the price down yet close enough to drive or transport there in less than an hour to see all the attractions.

Great value for money. Room was clean and very comfortable. Air conditioning unit was great as the temperature was adjustable. Up until the last night of our stay where the whole building encountered some problems, the WIFI connection was fantastic.
Not easily accessible to walkers/pedestrians. However, behind the hotel there is a great bus service to NYC (bus number 190)

Great rate. Room was not very clean. Terrible location. Friendly staff. Would stay there again for the rate, but the location was absolutely terrible.
Would not recommend it because of the location. Otherwise I definitley would!

Value for money. Room are very clean with a good tv program. Staff are very nice. The hotel is very close to nyc. The area seems to be very safe. We stayed four nights. We were extremely pleased.
The gps could not find the place. We had a lot difficulties finding the place. What I recommend is to enter the address of Red Roof hotel and from there take left at the first street light and exit Secaucus South.

The room was really nice and clean. It had an lcd tv and pretty everything you need. It was also quiet and I felt safe. There was free parking as well.
First: It was very difficult to reach the hotel although I was using a gps. We were supposed to arrive at the hotel in 12 mins from the Times Square and it took us five hours to reach it even though we saw the hotel and passed on the other side of the highway several times. Finding the exit that could take us to the other side was a real pain. We had to try up to 5 exists until we were able to reach the correct one (this was as such even with the gps). Second: when I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that Booked.net did not send him an email, but he can look for an empty room for us. He found a double-bed room although we had booked a king room online.

I stayed here for a week. The position is very convenient to reach Manhattan, in ten/fifteen minutes (not during th rush hours) you are in midtown (Port Authority). The bus stop (#190 weekend day and late hours, #122 week days) is just across the corner, and there is a bus every twenty minutes. The price for one way is 3,6 $, but you can buy ten tickets for 24 $. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is a normal continental breakfast. You can not have more for that price for an hotel located fifteen minutes from Times Square.
There is no shuttle to Newark. To get there you need to take a bus to Port Authority, Manhattan and from there take a bus to the airport

Disappointed
Location, next to the high way.
